Mills Selig is delighted to have been shortlisted for ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year’ at the Insider Media Northern Ireland Dealmakers Awards 2025. In addition, Glenn Watterson, Partner, Corporate has been shortlisted for ‘Dealmaker of the Year’. The awards recognise and celebrate firms and individuals who have excelled in dealmaking over the past year.
Having been awarded Corporate Law Firm of the Year in 2024, and Corporate Partner, Darren Marley picking up Emerging Dealmaker the same year, this shortlisting for 2025 reinforces the high regard in which Mills Selig’s Corporate team holds in a highly competitive market – this nomination is testament to both the complexity and volume of high value deals successfully completed by the Corporate team over the last 12 months.
Glenn’s nomination for ‘Dealmaker of the Year 2025’ comes as no surprise as he has had a standout year, having acted on several significant and complex deals throughout 2024, including:
- FD Technologies PLC’s sale of its consulting business, First Derivative, to EPAM Systems for £230m
- Moore Kingston Smith’s acquisition of Moore Northern Ireland
- Galgorm Collection’s acquisition of Galgorm Castle Estate
All of which have contributed significantly to Mills Selig’s deal volume for 2024.
