Mills Selig recruits newly qualified solicitors signifying further expansion of the law firm

Mills Selig has offered permanent positions to their newly qualified solicitors having completed a 2-year training contract with the local law firm in tandem with their studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.

The appointment of four new solicitors signifies further growth across Mills Selig’s corporate, property, licensing, and banking teams. The expansion is the latest in what has been a strong year of growth for the firm.

Based in Belfast, Mills Selig is one of Northern Ireland’s leading commercial law firms. Founded over 60 years ago, Mills Selig has remained local and independent, and is renowned for the successful handling of high value and complex matters.

Joining Mills Selig’s award-winning corporate team is Darragh Fox who will work directly under managing partner Chris Guy, senior partner John Kearns and partners Glenn Watterson and Darren Marley on a range of corporate matters, including M&A’s and corporate governance. 

Maria McStravick will join Mills Selig’s licensing team, which is headed up by partner, Maeve Fisher. The licensing team are recognised market leaders, combining detailed knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of licensing applications.

Chloe Lowe will join Mills Selig’s property team who are experts in the field of both commercial and residential property. Chloe and will work under Head of Department Anne Skeggs, and partners Anna-Marie McAlinden and Niamh Laverty.

Andrew McGrath will join Mills Selig’s banking & finance team which advises on property and corporate finance transactions. Andrew joins an experienced team of lawyers and will work closely with the firm’s corporate and property teams.
