Mills Selig is delighted to have advised long standing client Whiterock on both the debt and equity funding of Drinksology Kirker Greer (DKG), the Belfast-based drinks firm and creative agency.
The aggregate £6.5 million funding package marks the first equity investment made by the newly established £75m Growth Capital Fund managed by Whiterock with the debt funding made via the IFNI Debt fund managed by Whiterock. The funds will allow DKG to accelerate the development of its three core business units and progress its international expansion plans.
Mills Selig advised on all parts of this transaction, with the team being led by Managing Partner & Head of Corporate, Chris Guy with support on the equity investment from Darren Marley (Partner, Corporate), Lyndsey McSherry (Associate, Corporate), Christopher Fairfield, Jamie Farrell-Murray and Andrew McConnell (Solicitors, Corporate). The wider deal team included Anna-Marie McAlinden, Partner and Jayne Patterson, Associate (Commercial Property) and Andrew Edwards (Senior Associate, Employment). The debt funding was supported by Peter Cashel (Associate, Corporate/Banking).
