The Belfast Marathon is this weekend and Mills Selig’s Fiona McFall and John Quinn are in top shape and ready to take on the challenge in support of our wonderful charity Angel Wishes NI.
Just under 5000 runners will take part in the Belfast Marathon this year with the course running throughout the city – the atmosphere is set to be fantastic with spectators returning to the streets following the postponement of the event in 2020.
Mills Selig is proud to support Angel Wishes Northern Ireland – Fiona and John’s participation in the Belfast Marathon is just one of the many fundraising events planned for the year. Angel Wishes is made up of volunteers and 100% of all proceeds raised through fundraising and donations goes directly into supporting families – Mills Selig aims to raise £10,000 for Angel Wishes by the end of the year.
Fiona McFall, Partner at Mills Selig, who will be completing her 8th marathon this weekend, said:
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to fundraise for Angel Wishes – a superb charity, doing vital work and whose focus and support makes a huge difference to families who have children diagnosed with cancer related conditions – thank you to everyone able to donate to this hugely worthwhile cause.”
Angel Wishes was set up in 2016 by Ms Gaye Kerr in memory of her two children, Helen aged 3 and Brian aged 10, who both sadly passed away with cancer-related conditions. Angel Wishes supports all children throughout NI with cancer-related conditions. When your child is diagnosed with a cancer-related condition your world is thrown into turmoil, through Gaye’s lived experience, Angel Wishes is now there to offer the vital support required in this situation.
