Mills Selig is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted for ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year’ at the upcoming Insider Media Northern Ireland Dealmakers Awards 2024. In addition, Chris Guy, Managing Partner and Head of Corporate has been shortlisted for ‘Dealmaker of the Year‘ and Darren Marley, Partner within the Corporate team has been shortlisted for ‘Emerging Dealmaker of the Year’. The awards recognise and celebrate firms and individuals who have excelled in dealmaking over the past year.
Having been awarded ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year in 2022′, this shortlisting reinforces the high regard in which Mills Selig’s Corporate team holds in a highly competitive market – this nomination is testament to both the complexity and volume of high value deals successfully completed by the Corporate team over the last 12 months.
Awarded Dealmaker of the year in 2021, Chris Guy’s nomination for ‘Dealmaker of the Year 2024’ comes as no surprise as It has been a strong year for Chris. Leading the Corporate team from the top, he has been pivotal in numerous key transactions that have contributed significantly to Mills Selig’s deal volume for 2023.
Darren Marley has been instrumental in ensuring a number of significant NI transactions were seamlessly completed in 2023. Most notably, the sale of the Boojum restaurants to Azzuri Group – with this in mind, Darren will be considered a strong contender for ‘Emerging Dealmaker’ in 2024.

- Deal of the Year (above £10m)- Investment in Weev.ie Limited
