Mills Selig is pleased to support the Devenish Charity Ball, taking place on the ‘Old Racecourse’ at Dowth on Saturday 28th October, with funds raised at the event going to Farm Africa and the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund.
Devenish, who develop and supply innovative nutritional solutions and technical expertise to the livestock feed and human health industries, has been working with Farm Africa since 2013, an innovative charity which reduces poverty in rural Eastern Africa by helping farmers grow more, sell more and sell for more.
Commending the success of the event, now in its second year, Kathryn Walls, Director at Mills Selig said: “We are delighted to sponsor the ball and wish Devenish every success with their fundraising efforts. It is set to be a great event with so many people coming together to support such a worthwhile cause.”
Over 300 guests will be treated to a gourmet meal designed by Michelin Starred chef Richard Corrigan at the Lands at Dowth in the heart of the historic Boyne Valley at the now sold out Devenish Charity Ball.
The following day the Dowth Point to Point & Country Fair in conjunction with Meath Hunt and Tara Harriers will take place at the Old Racecourse at Dowth, complete with six races, local artisan food markets and kids’ activities. Last year over 3,000 people attended the event, and this year numbers are expected to reach 5,000.
