Mills Selig raise funds for local charity, Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, during an evening at Down Royal.
Attending an evening at the races at Down Royal racecourse, the Belfast based law firm enjoyed a night of entertainment with clients and associates. The celebrations commenced with pre-drinks at Belfast’s Ten Square followed by dinner, drinks and a balcony view of the finishing straight. However, when it came to backing a winner the focus was firmly on Mills Selig’s nominated charity – the NI Children’s Hospice.
Speaking about the success of the event, Mills Selig’s, Glenn Watterson said:
“The Racing at Down Royal was something not to be missed and we’re delighted that our clients had the opportunity to enjoy it as well as helping us raise much needed funds for our nominated charity. The NI Children’s Hospice is a charity close to our hearts and every pound raised goes directly to supporting and caring for the children, young people and their families both in hospice and in their own homes.”
All the winnings from the evening races resulted in a total of £760 being raised for hospice. The funds will be exchanged into providing 25 hours of specialist nursing care for a child or young person living with a life-limiting condition.
